Welcome to Arrowhead Golf Club,
located in a quiet rural setting just a few miles east of
Buffalo, NY and a short drive west of Rochester. Arrowhead
Golf Club has quickly emerged as Western New York’s premier
golf destination for public golf outings and premier golf
tournaments. Designed by Scott Witter, a rising golf course
architect, Arrowhead plays to par 72, with four sets of
tees, bent-grass greens and fairways, and over 60 bunkers.
After three years in the making, Arrowhead’s golf club and
golf course are already garnering considerable praise from
the discerning golfer looking for a casual public golf
outing to the exclusive private club member who is looking
for a fresh and inspiring change. In addition to our
respected golf course, our on site Pro Shop golf store is
the perfect compliment for those looking for golf course
equipment. Whether you live in Buffalo, Rochester, or beyond
our golf course is well worth the visit.
Golf Course Praise
After completing many distinguished
remodeling and renovation projects across NY, Scott Witter
has unveiled one of his finest efforts with our golf course
at Arrowhead Golf Club. From the moment the first nine holes
debuted in fall of 2003, “playability”, “strategy” and “shot
values” suddenly became everyday terms used in conversations
at the clubhouse. Encompassing 164 acres of open rolling
fallow farmland, the course routing seamlessly respects the
easy swells and troughs of the landscape. Wetland corridors,
six man-made ponds, tall fescue grasses and the ever-present
links inspired winds all conspire to imply that Arrowhead
golf course is the newest gem in the Western New York (WNY)
area. Our signature hole #18, which has received high praise
as one of the most exciting in Western New York, is one of
the many exciting hole designs that has even the U.S.G.A.
saying “Scott Witter’s design and your facilities are
certainly among the best to be found anywhere.” This
statement was made following the hosting of the 2005 United
States Senior Open qualifier here at Arrowhead.
